The Chester County Community Foundation connects people who care with the causes that matter, so their philanthropy makes a difference now and forever. CCCF was founded in 1994. The oldest community foundation in the U.S. is 100 years old, so CCCF is relatively young and growing.
The mission of the American Association for Cancer Research is to prevent and cure cancer through research, education, communication, and collaboration. Through its programs and services, the AACR fosters research in cancer and related biomedical science; accelerates the dissemination of new research findings among scientists and others dedicated to the conquest of cancer; promotes science education and training; and advances the understanding of cancer etiology, prevention, diagnosis, and treatment throughout the world.
With all of your participation, all of your willingness to donate that extra dollar, who knows what could happen. We may be able to prevent this disease, and although it did not save our Dad's life, it may eventually save someone else's father, someone else's brother, someone else's friend. Everything happens for a reason and our Dad's will to fight while he was sick motivated us to help others fight this disease!
